SAY I CAN, INSTEAD OF I CAN'T.

Do you know that we have 2 tamad days in a week. First would be the day before the restday. Eto yung araw na sinasabi natin na "Hay, pasok nanaman bukas" and then the 2nd tamad day would be the day after the restday. Y'all feel me? Anyways, today is my 2nd tamad day. Yes, my second tamad day falls on a weekend (Which makes it extra nakakatamad!) because I have weekdays off. Anyways, I remember what  my barkada told me back in college when I was uber down. Sabi nya, "Mind over matter". This is what I think of whenever I feel lazy at work. Why? Because I can't be lazy at work. So every 2nd katamaran day, I have to convince my head that I can. That I can work. That I can be productive. That I can freakin' survive this Katamaran 2 of 2. ;)

From then on, that's what I always remind myself. Whenever I feel down or whenever I am in pain (Kahit physically, emotionally, mentally or kahit basically lang. lol joke!), those words from a very very loko loko kuya-kuyahan in college slaps me in the face. So I always remind myself, "Ayos muka Kish, Mind over matter.. Mind over Matter. Mind over matter".

Right at this very moment that I am typing this blog, I used google and typed in "Mind over Matter" and I got this quote:

"YOUR BODY CAN STAND ALMOST ANYTHING.
IT'S YOUR MIND THAT YOU HAVE TO CONVINCE"

Do you know what does mean? It means that Google really knows everything. Hihi. Kidding. It means that It really is true that if you tell your mind that you CAN instead of  you CAN'T then you will attract positive vibes.

10 WAYS TO LOVE

I maybe negative sometimes but believe me, I am pro positivity. There might be times that I am not at my best, but I don't let it get me down. I laugh a lot, and I just love making other people happy. I always believe that We are all too blessed to be stressed.

One thing that I do whenever I am feeling is down is to look for  bible verses, or quotes that can help me stand up, and then I share it to a friend who's in need. Kesa pagusapan natin at malunod sa problema nung tao, how about you feed someone else's problem with positivity diba? Sometimes it's all about sharing the good vibes.

One thing that I have realized lately. If someone is in need of comfort, what they do is to talk to you about their problem. What we normally do is to listen, and give advises. Tapos the whole conversation, we'd just talk about the problem all day. So anong nangyayari? Where just feeding the problem with what it wants -- Attention. until it eats us up alive. How about this. When someone is in need of comfort, you let them talk. You listen. But instead of talking about the problem, share the positivity by giving her encouraging or positive quotes or bible verses that would lift them up. Minsan kasi, problema na nga, pinoproblema pa natin -- wag ganun. :)

Here's something I found online. And because my post is all about sharing the good vibes, let me share you the 10  ways to love.

1. Listen Without Interrupting. (Proverbs 18)

2. Speak Without Accusing. (James 1)

3. Give Without Sparing. (Proverbs 21)

4. Pray Without Ceasing. (Colossians 1)

5. Answer Without Arguing. (Proverbs 17)

6. Share Without Pretending. (Ephesians 4)

7. Enjoy Without Complaint. (Philippians 2)

8. Trust Without Wavering. (1st Corinthians 13)

9. Forgive Without Punishment. (Colossians 3)

10. Promise Without Forgetting. (Proverbs 13)

DENIM LOVE

This top is actually hubby's top, And I like wearing it because you can pair it to almost everything! I normally wear it with pants or with shorts with a plain white tee inside. While planning what to wear, I just thought of wearing it with a skirt.

Instead of just tucking the top into the skirt, I decided to just tie the end of the denim polo. Wore it with a denim high cut sneakers and voila!

BLACK | WHITE

I am not a fan of black clothes before. I only wear black if I am required to. I just find it too plain, unhappy, and boring. Add that I am also thin and I'm afraid that wearing black would just make me look thinner.

I don't know if this is a sign that I am getting older haha, but I find more black clothes in my cabinet than pastels now, and if you're following me on instagram, most of my ootds specially on dress up days are black.

Now, I don't find it boring anymore. I find it classy, versatile and professional. This casual top, when paired with a skirt seems okay as a business casual attire for me.

I am not into accessories but it would look good with a black watch and gold necklace, yes?

When 1 becomes 2 (Or more) Lol

Sorry for the title. I was actually thinking of the Spice Girls '2 become 1' haha.

As much as possible, just like most girls, I don't like the idea of wearing the same clothes again, but I also don't like the idea of giving it away or selling it if I just wore it once, Why? Well, let's say I don't want it to be on MIA when I want to wear it again. ;P

Do you have the same problem? Well here's something I want to share. Instead of buying new clothes, why not wear the same clothes but in different ways?

This is what I wore for work last Tuesday, February 17,2015 #dressuptuesdays

I wore this dress as a top and paired it with a black skirt. It's kinda long (like 3 inches above the knee) so I had to adjust the way I tucked it to the skirt so It would not be longer than the skirt. You can also tuck it on a high waisted pants!

See how many times you can wear the same dress but in different ways?

Are you doing the same thing? Comment with the link of your picture or blog post!
